Our materials

Paper and wood

Our paper and board is sourced only from responsible forestry, meaning no old growth forests are used. We use quality papers and board when making all our products for premium quality assurance.

PLA (Polylactic Acid)

Polylactic acid is a bioplastic derived from plants such as corn, tapioca and potato. It is a rapidly renewable resource and can be certified as industrially compostable. Our PLA options include CPLA (crystalised polylactic acid) or PLA-lined packaging.

Sugarcane (Bagasse)

Sugarcane bagasse, a byproduct from sugarcane production, is an example of fibre-based packaging and is a rapidly renewable resource. Our sugarcane can be certified as either home or industrially compostable.

Plastic

Our traditional plastic options include cups, lids and bowls and are made from PET, polystyrene or polypropylene. These items are marked with a Plastics Identification Code (PIC) between 1 and 7, which denotes the type of plastic used to make the product.
